Welcome to AirComf (accessible at aircomf.com). By accessing, browsing, downloading technical data from, or utilizing the contractor dispatch features on this website, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein, you must immediately discontinue use of this site.

⚡ CRITICAL HIGH VOLTAGE & PRESSURE SAFETY WARNING

Commercial rooftop packaged HVAC units operate on lethal 3-phase electrical voltages (including 208V, 230V, 460V, and 575V AC) and store refrigerants under extreme thermodynamic pressures exceeding 450–600 PSIG. Do not attempt to open electrical disconnects, bypass safety interlocks, connect pressure manifold gauges, or service internal electrical components unless you are a licensed commercial mechanical contractor, qualified electrician, or EPA Section 608 certified technician. Failure to follow OSHA lockout/tagout procedures can result in electrocution, severe arc-flash burns, blindness, explosion, or fatal injury.

1. Scope of Field Reference & Technical Documentation

The manuals, wiring schematics, microcomputer fault codes, subcooling formulas, and component specifications provided on AirComf are published strictly for educational, informational, and reference purposes for trade professionals. While AirComf exercises rigorous engineering review to maintain technical accuracy, commercial equipment undergoes frequent manufacturer revisions, firmware updates, and field modifications.

You acknowledge that on-site equipment conditions must always be verified against the physical equipment data plate, factory electrical schematic pasted inside the control compartment panel, and current manufacturer engineering bulletins before performing maintenance or replacement work.

2. EPA Section 608 Compliance Notice

Under Section 608 of the United States Clean Air Act (40 CFR Part 82, Subpart F), it is a violation of federal law for any person to maintain, service, repair, or dispose of commercial air conditioning or refrigeration appliances without holding appropriate EPA Section 608 Universal or Type II Certification. AirComf does not encourage or condone the venting of fluorinated refrigerants (including R-410A, R-22, R-454B, and R-32). All refrigerant recovery and charging must be conducted using certified recovery units and approved DOT recovery cylinders.

3. Independent Contractor & Dispatch Referral Services

AirComf provides referral and commercial dispatch routing services connecting facility managers and building owners with independent commercial HVAC service contractors. AirComf is not an employer, general contractor, or insurer of any independent third-party contractor dispatched through telephone hotlines, online quote forms, or pay-per-call numbers featured on this site.

Independent contractors are solely responsible for maintaining active state contractor licensing (such as California CSLB C-20), commercial general liability insurance, workers' compensation coverage, and compliance with local municipal building codes. Facility operators must independently verify contractor credentials and written work proposals before authorizing repairs.

4. Intellectual Property & Fair-Use Trademark Notice

All third-party brand names, registered trademarks, service marks, and model designations (such as York®, Johnson Controls®, Simplicity®, Metasys®, Carrier®, Trane®, ReliaTel®, and Lennox®) referenced on this site remain the exclusive property of their respective trademark holders. Their use on AirComf constitutes nominative fair use strictly for product identification, technical compatibility reference, and diagnostic cross-referencing under United States trademark law.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
